As the holiday season approaches, we at J/D Sauce are reflecting on the true meaning of giving and how we can make a difference in the world around us. This year, we’re excited to introduce a new tradition aligned with our commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles – focusing not only on reducing our environmental impact but also on giving back to our local community.

In previous years, our traditions have been different, which I am keen to evolve. Last year, we began by supporting the local handball team, local scouts, and the Danish Refugee Council – initiatives thoughtfully chosen by our employees. This year we’re proud to continue supporting the local handball team while also our efforts to back the Sølund MusikFestival, right here in Skanderborg.

Why Sølund MusikFestival?

Sølund MusikFestival is not just a local treasure; it is the world’s largest festival for individuals with developmental disabilities, bringing together thousands of participants for an unforgettable celebration of music, inclusion, and joy. The festival exemplifies the power of community, creating meaningful connections and lifelong memories for its attendees.

Our employees have chosen Sølund MusikFestival as this year’s key initiative, with J/D Sauce donating to support their remarkable work. We believe that this focus on impactful causes resonates deeply with our employees, fostering a sense of pride and purpose in their roles.
